Mia, known online as Cont0rt, creates music using FL Studio. She samples big band music of the 1940s and reinvigorates them into something new. She also creates Drum and Bass and other random EDM compositions that don't fit into typical EDM genres.

Mia has made a name for herself as a music producer on YouTube. She has released 3 albums over the course of 4 years, breaking boundaries by mixing hip-hop with big band jazz samples from the 1940s and 30s as well as EDM genres such as DnB and house, all available on streaming services such as Spotify, iTunes and Deezer.
Mia is currently in the process of learning piano and exploring jazz. She will most likely incorporate these jazz elements into her music in the future. Through her sampling, she has discovered jazz saxophonists and quartets such as Paul Desmond, Stan Getz and Gerry Mulligan and it is those main three who inspired her to try picking up the saxophone.
