SINGER // SONGWRITER

Josette is an Ōtautahi based singer songwriter who began her original music endeavours in 2021 after finishing a Bachelor of Music Arts at Ara. She is known for tight grooves, catchy melodies and strong storytelling that hold the attention of the crowd with her unique personality and electric stage presence. She has shared the stage with well known NZ artists such as: Hot Donnas, The Raddlers, Wulfie, MIM, KIMONO, Lunar Intruder, Leah Kelsey to name a few, delivering her original music to an audience that grows larger every show. Most recently as she has built a name for herself gigging regularly at venues such as Darkroom, The Foundry and Space Academy, many people are asking for and ready to hear her well received songs in recorded form. 2022 has already seen her release the well received debut single ‘One Shot’, her second single ‘Comfort Show’ and a five track EP ‘Daytona Fair’. With many more projects on the horizon, this next chapter is looking to be full of compelling moments for Josette.
