The band cradles influence ranging from Mississippi Blues through to the early Seattle grunge. There craft is hard fought in bands like Slidedriver, The Jack-knife Disciples, Mr. Me and Flinch. This bands motivation is to put blues driven rock, back, front and centre, in the global music scene.
Recorded in a purpose built studio in rural North Canterbury, New Zealand. It was mixed and mastered by rock hard hitter Jacek Milaszewski from Chimp Studios, Poland.

The band’s debut album was recorded over the last two years in a purpose built studio in rural North Canterbury, New Zealand. It was mixed and mastered by hard hitter Jacek Milaszewski from Chimp Studios, Wroclaw, Poland. The Hookline Shakers head back in the studio later this year to start writing their soft more release. The bands goal is to build on the strong underground response to the first single, with mainstream radio, social media, and selected live shows as the priority targets.
